Anne Loochtan has worked in the community college environment since 1978, including Sinclair Community College in Dayton, Ohio; Pueblo Community College in Pueblo Colorado; Columbus State Community College in Columbus, Ohio and currently Cincinnati State Technical and Community College in Cincinnati. Prior to 1978 she was a practicing respiratory therapist, department manager, and faculty member in a hospital-based respiratory therapy educational program.
She earned her baccalaureate degree in Allied Medical Professions-Respiratory Therapy, from The Ohio State University, her Master’s in Guidance and Counseling from the University of Colorado and her doctorate in Instructional Design and Online Learning from Capella University. Anne’s dissertation examined the distance delivery of a radiography program in a large-suburban city to a small Appalachian community. Anne has been active in several organizations and initiatives, including the National Network of Health-Career Programs in Two-Year Colleges and is an NN2 Commissioner for CAAHEP.
